The vaquita, a type of porpoise, is the most endangered animal on earth. They live in the gulf of California, also known as the seas of Mexico. The reason why they are so endangered, is because vaquitas are the smallest of sea mammals excluding otters, seals, walruses, and sea lions. Vaquitas are 5feet long and 46kg meaning they will get caught in nets easily. If they get caught in nets, they will either drown, get captured, or the will get stranded. Not many people know of the vaquita as there are only 10 left in the world, but we need to stop nets from getting lose in the sea. It’s not only vaquitas who get caught in them, its also thousands of other animals too. Dolphins, turtles, whales, and even fish face the same problem as these innocent vaquitas. All animals deserve a chance in there lives but they can’t do anything about it, we can. Its up to us to give them a chance. We need to find a way to stop this madness. So get working by making posters and even more!!!
