Welcome to or welcome back to Bella’s World, today we’re celebrating the magpies! Today I went downstairs to watch the birds. I duck behind the kitchen counter to see a magpie on the outdoor table. It started to call to the others. It looked panicked as it couldn’t figure out how to get down from the table. It called to its friends again. It then realised how to get away. Not down but it needs to go upwards. It then begins to fly up to my roof. I then hear it call to its friends now all together on the roof. We can learn a lot from the experience and perseverance of the magpie. If we were all a little more like the magpie we could learn and be more resilient. We could have a much more kind, strong and resilient society if we learnt from magpie.
