Welcome to or welcome back to Bella’s World today we’re going to help the beautiful birds. At the moment (for me at least) it’s winter it’s becoming increasingly hard for the birds to hunt. Most of the berries are gone and the ground is extremely hard so it’s harder to stick their beak in. So what could you do?

If you have a bird feeder, that’s perfect! If not you glue down a plastic bottle with holes in to a pole, you’ll have one. Filling them bird seed is great. However clean them weekly and wear gloves. When you don’t clean them regularly seed building at the bottom at it rots and moulds. The birds must build up fat so they can have some energy. Please take down your feeder when the spring arrives and the ground is relatively soft. If you don’t the birds will become too dependent on the feeder. They’ll lose their hunting instincts and skills.
I remember seeing a Coal Tit at our feeder for the first time, so magical. Our birds need us and help them now you know. Thanks for reading, share your thoughts, tips and tricks and ideas in the comments below! Please like and follow Bella’s World.
